The GVIP community is where we all meet and discuss in an open manner where there are issues, what we can do and agree on a direction. Some meetings will have a short presentation, but there will always be room for discussion.
In the meetings in February we had discussions about:
- Packaging that changes the original code – is it a fork or not? What kind of identifier should we use in the CVE?
- Embedded systems
- Cloud service identifiers – from SBOM to CVE
- Future work for GVIP
We try to schedule meetings in a pair with different time slots. One in the european morning and one in the late afternoon- in order to fit into your agenda, regardless of where you are located.
The community meetings will have notes taken in order to remember discussions and especially ideas and to-do’s. These will be published on our GitHub repository.
We require registration in order to get the link. You register and will get the link to the video meeting in email a day before the event. Looking forward to seeing you!
